TONIGHT 12/20 - 09:00PM CST – “Good Eating for the Holidays” with special guest and culinary arts, Chef Donny Touchet. Donny, cooking for 20 years and a graduate of the Culinary Arts Institute of Louisiana. After an amazing career of working in James Beard award winning restaurants and achieving a fourth star as an executive chef at only 30 years old, I had the opportunity to open my own place in my hometown. Only months after opening, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and my career was cut short. So now, after much demand from friends, I wrote his own cookbook, “Touche' The Cookbook” http://www.amazon.com/Touche-Cookbook-Chef-Donny-Touchet/dp/1477549757 and followed up with a blog as an extension of his work.
He is an Navy ex-submariner and foremost a Christian. Tonight, we’ll be discussing with him about great holidays dishes and GREAT food in general. I am a BIG, BIG, BIG fan of food as well as Brent. We hope Jo Anne Moretti maybe joining us as well to share with us some of her holiday ideas some traditional, some maybe not so traditional.
