I am honored to have as my next guest, Susan Hess Logeais. Susan, is currently, a filmmaker, film producer, and actor, whose current film, Not Dead Yet, is being shown and distributed, across the country. I had the good fortune of meeting Susan, when she was in New York for the premiere screening of her film. Afterward, several of us went out to dinner, and while talking, I learned of Susan's similar love for healthy foods, so, we decided to do this show.

Here are a few of Susan's thoughts on food:

In a nutshell, I believe that living life guided by one's heart center in combination with exercise that nurtures the soul as well as the body, and a diet of organic foods which is low in sugar, utilizes sprouted grains, includes raw fermented dairy, plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits, and limited animal protein is the best way to look and feel one's best.

Susan has an incredible, illustrious background as a former ballerina, top fashion model, and Hollywood actress, but her real growth took place as she began to look at the way in which "all of us are manipulated by the advertising and media imagery." Her company, Hot Flash Films PDX, is dedicated to informing, uplifting and empowering audiences through thought provoking entertainment and realistic media imagery that celebrates women as they truly are. That was the thinking behind the film, Not Dead Yet, and the inspriration for her work going forward.
