Tess and Bess talk with Steph Woollard about her amazing Seven Women not for profit organisation in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Seven Women provides skills training and employment for disabled women in Nepal to become self sufficient by making beautiful craft which you can buy online or from wonderful retailers around Australia.
Seven Women began in 2008, when founder Australian, Steph Woollard, funded skills training for seven women she met who at the time were operating out of a tin shed. WIth these newly learnt skills the women made hand made items designed by Steph to sell in the Australian market. 100% of the profits from the sales of these products have been spent on building the project into a women skills training centre which to date has employed and trained over 450 women.
