    Thanksgiving

Many people have messaged us about why we werent on air this past weekend so I wanted to address it quick and simple rather than trying to individually explain it to those that have asked. Saturday afternoon we received word that a very close friend of ours  has passed away. After a few frantic phone calls/ text messages we learned that this was a hoax played on a lot of people by some really sick individual whom we've yet to find as the culprit. There had been other events taking place that day that also factored into our not being on air, however its not necessary for me to get into that here and so people that want to know, dont worry about it, as its being taken care of and is really just a personal matter. We appreciate your concern, and we try our best to keep everyone in the know as much as we feel they need to be. We'll be back after the holiday, so to everyone out there we hope you enjoy yours! Take time to find something to be thankful for. Even if you find yourself in not the best of circumstances, know theres always something good to come from the bad. Take care and be safe this week!

  • Original Air Date:

    Drug Emporiums and Marathons

We'll be recapping last weeks New York City Marathon and letting you know how Amanda McGrory placed, as well as recapping Josh's experiences from the event. Also we'll be discussing when is the line crossed between what the public has a right to know, and what is (or should be considered) private as it relates to the lives of those in the public eye

  • Date / Time:

    Priorities

Anyone who knows me, knows how much i loathe celebrities....well its probably more of a love-hate relationship.....(the love part is that i love to voice my hatred) i hate the press they get for simply having the title of "celebrity" and i hate how the public is enamored with the need to know whats going on in their personal lives.  If the roles were reversed and the papparazi were to invade the lives of regular joes.... how many of those "regular joes" would like to have their personal live made public for the world to judge? Probably not many.

Case in point- Andy Reid- head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles ( a celebrity in the right that hes a local public figure)

Recently his 2 eldest sons were sentenced to up to 24 months in jail for weapons/drug charges. Due to the fact  that the above mentioned is a public figure, he and his family have been subjected to an onslaught of public opinion and criticism about how they run their house and how they could allow their home to be considered a "drug emporium". We as outsiders have no right to judge what goes on in the houses of other people nor is it anyones business but those directly involved to know what goes on behind ones 4 walls. The question has been posed, does ones personal life, affect their professional life? That's something  that can be debated as long as there is life on Earth. The fact remains that many people have personal problems and still go to work and take care of business in their professional career. People who cant seperate the 2 would be wise to re-evaulate their priorities and the time spent on them. I may be one of the few that feel this way, but in the case above, I would rather Andy Reid spend his time focusing his full undivided attention on his family to ensure that his younger children do not fall victim to the same situation and that his eldest sons come away from this better than when it started. Football is merely a game (as is any other sport for that matter) and when push comes to shove, family structure is more important than who wins on Sunday.

This cause is the first among  many that are important to us that we'd like to help raise money for.  Fellow host Josh's mom, Nigel, was first diagnosed with MS in May of 1992, but has been experiencing symptoms as early as 1987.

Please help us in raising money and awareness to one day find a cure for this debilitating disease.

Many sincere Thank You's to all who are willing and able to help!
