Dr. Gaither has co-authored a book The Confident Women, which was written to increase self-confidence and self-esteem. Her chapter deals with issues of self esteem in pregnancy ( Dr. Gaither's interests are prenatal diagnosis, diabetes, HIV, and obesity in pregnancy.
