Thank you for focusing on Domestic Violence! Many people don't realize that this issue touches the rich as well as the poor, the educated and uneducated, and surprisingly men as well. I think women especially live in a state of denial when they encounter it and many times just brush it off until it becomes too late or the emotional damage can never be repaired. I advise all people to LOVE themselves enough to "move on" the minute they "smell" emotional, physical or psychological mistreatment.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month Event & Actress Robin Givens

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Givens today.  She gave a powerful keynote speech about her experiences in learning about herself and the affects of being in an abusive relationship.  She was warm, charming, and funny.  She kindly spoke to everyone that approached and was genuinely supportive for the cause of creating safe families, holding abusers accountable, and supporting survivors.  She has given an initial approval for being a guest on my radio program so I'll keep you posted if that happens.
