Today Matthew interviews Fitness Instructor Dustin Maher of DustinMaherFitness.com and FitMomsForLife.com. Dustin is known across the fitness industry as "America's Trainer to the Moms. Dustin graduated with a degree in Kinesiology in 2006 and is using that degree as a personal trainer and fitness instructor. He's currently working on writing his first book! "I am a highly motivated and driven person who doesn't like to sit on the sidelines of life, but rather be in the fast lane being proactive. I love motivating and inspiring people towards changing their lives. I have a goal of reaching a million moms who can't seem to reach their fitness goals within the next 4 years. I get choked up when I have clients who are in their 30's and 40's and early 50's who tell me that they are in the best shape of their lives because there was someone who believed in them and pushed their bodies to new levels and through the process improved their mind, body, and spirit. I like to be active and outside. I am always up for an adventure and trying out new things. I spent part of last summer in the African bush on a missions trip, then recently went to Trinidad. I also unsuccessfully tried out for Survivor. I am a highly highly competitive person who hates to lose (but will be a good sport) if I do. I try to get as good as I can and am always analyzing ways to get better. Three examples are Scrabble, connect four, and ping pong, also doing crazy stuff standing on a stability ball. I like to surround myself with only positive people who are goal orientated and are making something out of their life. People who will challenge me to be a better person in all areas of my life."
