    Think Twice Thursday: When To 2nd Guess Yourself

    Join Willow Butterfly in The Cocoon for Think Twice Thursday: When To 2nd Guess Yourself, beginning Thursday, February 19th @ 11:30 P.M.  During the Girls Nite Out Series, The Cocoon discussed topics relevant to dating responsibly.  One of the broadcasts, "Cinderella, Where Did You Lose Your Slipper" discussed the necessity for single women to keep themselves as the #1 priority when dating.  The slipper represented poor choices when it comes to dating in an era of down low brothers and HIV statistics on the rise in African-American women.  A second broadcast, "Kitten vs. Cougar: Older Women Dating Younger Men", discussed the phenomenon of dating outside of your generation and what is acceptable.  Many listeners responded via email to share their stories (some of which were horrific and a few success stories). 

    Think Twice Thursdays is going to revisit both broadcasts and address the email questions with a focus on when you should think twice about a matter before proceeding.  It is often said to "go with your gut", and while this is something we all do, there also comes a time when you should take a breath, and thoroughly contemplate decisions that can and will have a life-altering affect.

    Tune in at 11:30 P.M. on Thursdays, beginning February 19th, to discuss matters that deserve a second thought.  These matters range from going on blind dates to dating a co-worker, lending money to a friend or co-signing a loan for a relative, hooking up with an ex-lover to ending a long-distance relationship.  To join the discussion, dial-in to 646-716-6011.  Send your email questions, comments or suggestions to thecocoon2009@hotmail.com.
