Okay, I just had to take this moment out to blog about a subject previously covered on The Chicks Corner – Old Flames Never Die. It confirms our direction is in order and our subjects are needed. We are about enlightening, brightening and leading all that we come in contact with one way or another. By all means, we do fall short sometimes but we try to find what we’re missing fairly quickly to become complete in that area.
This morning on The Bonnie Hunt Show, I was blessed by a story of a couple who were high school sweethearts that reunited 50 (fifty) years AFTER graduation. The two of them had been married, had children and have lived their lives in totally different capacities for 50 years, but their hearts found each other again. Bonnie interviewed the two and found out the guy had lost his wife to death and of course the woman no longer had a man in her life. After careful research of where his high school sweetheart was and other important info, he mailed a letter to her stating he was just making contact with her. Out of respect, he made sure that she knew he was no longer married, that’s why he was making contact. She (I believe her name was Diane), was so excited to get a letter from him and she E-MAILED him back. Notice he US mailed and she e-mailed. (LOL) Anyway, after two weeks from the initial contact, they made plans to meet up and of course things went well, and they are now happily married! They are packing right now to relocate to the city of her new husband!
I just love beautiful love stories!
So….SOME Old Flames Never Die!!!
