Today we will be discussing The Power Principle. Dr Sorin is the founder. He is a board certified physician, with experience in Family practice, Emergency room and Bariatrics (weight loss medicine).
In a nutshell, the Power Principle is a change in the way of thinking, feeling and doing things, for weight loss and general health and wellness.
There are many programs focusing on diet, on exercise programs, on motivation, but very few are successful in the long term. The problem is not that they don’t work, but instead they are focused on the short term goals and use the tools that may help to lose some weight or improve fitness, but without paying attention to the long term.
Other programs target specific aspects such as calories or time spent exercising. The problem is that these programs do not address the whole person and their global being and needs. This will ultimately lead to the Yo-Yo pattern of success and failure. This is the real challenge in our society, leading to further attempts and usually lack of belief in oneself and gradual deterioration over time.
Imagine yourself healthy, well, and in shape starting from inside out. Imagine having yourself image as that of a complete, healthy, happy individual, one who can handle the challenges that come up and moving towards where your true self is, regardless of where you are on the outside (out of shape, overweight, ill, fill in your demons here..)
Imagine yourself being guided by your own internal forces and motivations as opposed to being told what you should do, and what you should look like.
