"Forget the Church Follow Jesus" ?

“Forget the Church Follow Jesus” is the headline appearing on the Newsweek Magazine cover for the April 9, 2012 issue.  It has been said the headline is simply a ploy by Newsweek to increase magazine sales. Regardless, the headline is thought provoking.  The headline builds anticipation for the theme of the article.  Anticipation for an article explaining why one should “Forget the Church” and what’s meant by “Follow Jesus”.  If this was or is your mindset prior to reading the article you could be disappointed with the content.  You judge for yourself.  Nonetheless in the Virtual Living Room we will discuss the notion of “Forget the Church” and also what it means to “Follow Jesus”.
