Please join us tonight at 8:30pm (Sorry to my East Coast Peeps, it's Pacific Standard Time, but at least it is easy to listen to us on iTunes the next morning). I'm excited to have two of my favorite people with me, best friend and blogging extraordinaire Sizzle will be my co-host and music superstar Shane Mack will be calling in as our guest to talk about his Grammy nomination with Leanne Womack and his upcoming Los Angeles show at the Hotel Cafe!

Our call in number is (646) 595-3628. Please tell your friends and be sure and press subscribe on your iTunes podcast so we know just how many people are listening!

Getting my feet wet with Jake Walden and Jessie McNamara

This will serve as the first "official" hello from The Baub Show as I brush up on my hosting skills and invite some of my friends to stop by. My first guest is the very talented Jake Walden and my co-host is the hilarious Jessie McNamara. It all begins here, so have a listen and share with your friends!

First Show, First Guests... Here we go!

Even though Madonna says, "he has to go", Kevin Costner was on to something when he said, "if you build it, they will come." Well, he actually didn't say it, a bunch of whispering ghosts said it and actually some writer in Hollywood told them to say it, but it is still true nonetheless! I started building, and now it is coming together!

Last year, I premiered The Baub Show on LiveVideo.com. Unfortunately, I am not sure we were all on the same page and the internal politics of the website eventually caused an implosion. The experience left me with trepidations about doing the show elsewhere, because if I am going to do it, I want to do it right. And right to me, means a budget and time to commit fully to the project.

Then a few months ago, I met my new friend Pauly (who feels like I've known forever), who runs his own show called, "Pauly and Marky's Fruit Salad Show" over at BlogTalkRadio. The second I listened to it, my blood started pumping and my heart felt warm, because I knew this was the perfect format for me right now.

When I was 15, I moved from Washington to California and began recording radio shows for my friend Paula. It was called "B.A.U.B. Radio" and there are few things in my life I can remember being so committed to! That was also the resurrection of the Baub moniker and I have maintained it ever since. With modern technology what it is, I can chat with my friends about anything I want for an hour each week and my friends can call in and join me! The best part is, if you miss the live broadcast, you can subscribe and download the podcast to your iPod via iTunes!

This was a huge problem with the video show, as no one wanted to sit still in front of their computers for 45 minutes watching (and honestly, I don't blame them. I have a hard time watching a full TV show online when I miss it.) I'm going live for the very first "official" time tonight (Tuesday, June 9th) at 8:30pm PST! Come right back here or visit thebaubshow.com where you can join in the chat!

Now for the best part! For my first show, there were only two guests that I wanted and they both said yes immediately. Jake Walden and Jessie McNamara were my first guests when The Baub Show premiered last summer and I'm honored to have them back to talk about the last year and play a little music! Please join us! I don't know if I am ready for you to tell your friends yet, but I am definitely wanting my friends at my new party!
