Today we'll speak with Joshua Ireland about the politicization of toxic masculinity and he'll uncover academic research by men for men that we often hear so little about. Joshua is a husband and father of two. Joshua had a unique childhood that led him to ask the question “what does it mean to be a good man?” at an early age. Seeking the answer to this question led him to study philosophy and history in undergraduate work. Now pursuing his PhD in Clinical Psychology, Joshua has discovered that there are decades of research on men and masculinity. Using his background in history, philosophy, and psychology as a foundation, Joshua is writing articles designed to speak to the average man. Articles that explore the challenges faced by men today, the problems with toxic masculinity, and exploring the path toward healthy masculinity. You can follow Joshua on Facebook, on Instagram @joshua_ireland, on Twitter @joshuaireland13 or on LinkedIn. You can read Joshua's article "The New Man" for more insights.
