Measure L is a proposal to raise the sales tax in Stanislaus County by one half percent. The money will be spent on various projects related to transportation. Voters will get to decide on whether to approve it at the general election to be held on November 8, 2016.
What follows is a point by point response to the ballot argument in favor of Measure L.

Comment: Yes, but who decided to build six lane expressways and freeway overpasses instead of fixing roads? Why weren't adequate infrastructure fees assessed on new development?
