When she was little, she would pace back and forth in her family’s computer room while her mom transcribed Becca’s excited spouting of The Wizard of Oz 2: Dorothy’s Roller-Blading Adventure. (The film has yet to be produced.) Becca made her first short film, Kings and Queens, at the age of seventeen, and has been writing and directing ever since. She graduated from Kenyon College in 2010, where she studied film, drama, anthropology, and finding four leaf clovers. After spending her first year out of college working for tips and crewing on other people’s projects, she set out to make her first independent film. With her tip money, she made Rain in Summer, a short film that went on to screen at nearly a dozen film festivals nationwide, picking up several awards along the way. She has just completed the feature-length documentary, One: A Story of Love and Equality. She is extremely passionate about this project, and can’t wait to see where it will go. A midfielder for the Florida Launch, he was drafted as the 19th overall pick in the 2005 MLL collegiate draft. After brief stints with the Long Island Lizards and the Boston Cannons, Chazz played for the Los Angeles Riptide until the team folded between the 2008 and 2009 seasons. During that time, he was a 2008 MLL All Star Selection where he won the freestyle competition. From 2009 to 2010 Chazz played for both the Chicago Machine and the Chesapeake Bayhawks (2010 MLL Champions). In 2011, he signed with the LXM Pro Tour, which introduces lacrosse to mainstream audiences by combining world-class professional lacrosse games with live concert performances. In addition to playing, Woodson has been a member of the Ransom Everglades School Athletic Department since 2006, where he coaches JV basketball and Varsity lacrosse. He’s been featured in articles in Inside Lacrosse and Lacrosse Magazine. He also signed an endorsement deal with Brine Lacrosse in 2008 and in 2009, became the first and only lacrosse player ever signed to a contract with New Balance Athletic Shoe. Chazz has featured in 3 commercials thus far for Brine, and one for New Balance. KellyJosh Levin, executive editor of Slate Magazine, wrote a jaw-dropping story at the end of 2013 probing the life of Linda Taylor, the woman who he discovered was the actual “welfare queen,” the toxic, living-high-on-the-hog -off-the-government’s-dime stereotype, who became emblazoned in the American imagination after her exploits where chronicled in Ronald Reagan’s presidential campaign speech.   While many believed she was a politically-motivated fabrication, her fraud was very real and chronicled in great detail in the Chicago Tribune.   The “welfare queen” in the minds of most is thought to be a Black woman, however, Levin’s article details the life of a woman who on her birth and death certificates was actually codified as white, but regularly used multiple racial identities and names to commit crimes far more damning than public aid fraud.   And, she even has a connection to singer R.
