The NBL Canada Live podcast is back fresh off the very successful Clash at the Colosseum!

The Audman was on hand and gives his account on all the excitement that took place at Caesars Casino in Windsor between the Express and the Rainmen.

Carlan Gay and Audley Stephenson are also joined by 6'5 guard Keith Cothran of the Saint John Mill Rats.

When it was announced that league MVP, Anthony Anderson of the Saint John Mill Rats was moved to Injured Reserve as a result of a calf tear, the team quicjly signed  Keith Cothran in his place.  Cothran averaged 14.3 points. 3.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.7 steals per game at the University of Rhode Island his senior season 2009-2010.  He has since played professionally in Iceland, Angola, and Morocco.

In 2012, Cothran was in the wrong place at the wrong time, sitting in someone else's car in Hartford, Connecticut when a hail of gunfire was blasted into the vehicle. Miraculously, Cothran was not hit directly but a bullet ricocheted off the dashboard and lodged itself in his forehead.  He was rushed to the hospital, but was back playing basketball in two weeks.

He joins the the podcast to chat about his personal journey, the obstacles he's conquered and filling in for a league MVP.

Plus Cothran will also share the Canadian delicacy he tried when he first arrived north of the border.
