Mrs Perry also helped get funding for The Seat Pleasant Amatuer Boxing Program, which was host to The First Public Access Cable Televise Broadcast of an Amateur Boxing tournamnet, which attracted many sports legends including Sugar Ray Leonard and his brother Kenny Leonard, Boxing Trainer Alphonso Hatcher and many others.
