Join host John Smith as he talks with Natalie Brown, Resource Coordinator at the Iskashitaa Refugee Harvesting Network. The mission of this group is to empower refugees by creating opportunities to use their knowledge and skills to help their families and their community and to better integrate with the larger Tucson community while gaining life skills that serve them in America. Natalie will tell us more about their Fruit Mapping and Gleaning Project, which helps prevent the waste of locally grown food resources in the Tucson area.
