Successfully raising 5 wonderful children as a single mother (her husband died suddenly at a young age), she loves New York City and has been living and working in Carnegie Hall for over 60 years!--------WHAT IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW? Editta moved her family into Carnegie Hall in order to be able to support her large family with her photography studio. In the 1940's, times were tough, but she saw an ad in the local paper "Live and Work in Carnegie Hall" and decided to take a chance.
