Interview With Jane Belisle

After traveling around the world (literally!) for a year – and then around the USA for three more years – Jane Belisle and her husband Pat created RendezVous: a potluck and music fest. Together they opened their home and hosted this gathering for 11 years building community one 2nd Saturday at a time. After four years on the road traveling and searching for meaning to life, experiencing other cultures, and meeting amazing people, Jane was interested in creating a community with her husband right in their own backyard. With a desire to “actively be part of something”; wanting to really connect with people, and having the drive to make life what they wanted it to be, RendezVous was born. Through commitment, “holding the space,” and being (completely) open and welcoming, they created a diverse network of joyful, loving friends one 2nd Saturday at a time.
