Hi Darin, This is Lorie your sister, I want you and your listeners to know that I read your book you gave me and it has broke my heart. As you know and your listeners out there should know, that I am your much older sister that was never allowed to participate in being so. Not by our choice and as a matter of fact you were not aware of my excistance until this difficult time in your life began. I was aware of you and your brother all along unable to do anything about it until your teens. If I had been allowed to be your big sister believe me you could of came to me when your sighting happened and I would have known your story to be true not only because you are my brother but also due to experiences I have had growing up on my mother's side of the family. Not that I have seen one but my mother did one night in Truckie California on a camping trip in the late 60's which was life altering for her and us kids (whe heard it's calls for several hours after, very scary). In the 80's my brother's I was raised with, along with a few cusins went on a late night coon hunting expo up Fall Creek (Windberry area) my cusin's coon dogs caught a trail and took to the woods, we cracked open some refreshments and began the bull. With in minutes the woods became frightenly quite, the call of the hounds stoped suddenly and my cusin said that was not right, we heard some calls that sent chills up your spine and some terrible banging of wood againt wood getting closer and closer. We were hit with the foulest order we ever experienced, it was awful (growing up in a family of hunter's you smell alot), the hounds came running out of the tree line at amazing speed and jumped like a flash into the back of the truck with their tails between their legs (these were some of the best hounds in the county). At that moment my cusin and older brother told everyone to get in the truck and we sped out as fast as we could. I never saw my older brother scared before or since that night. No one beleived us either only unlike you I had the support of others in the family. I am so sorry I was not there in your time of need, it hurts me to know you suffered this pain alone and it angers me that I was not allowed to be your big sis especially for these types of moments. Reading your book has shown me part of you and your life that I have missed. I now feel I know you better. Understanding you better will make it easier for me to talk to you which I would really like the opportunity to do. Just so everyone knows Darin and I have probably only talked maybe four or five times since he found out I was his sister a little over a decade ago which soon after he experienced a life changing event and with drew. Family told me he was having emotional problems and better to stay away. I have started a relationship with my farther with in the last few years but Darin lived to far for contact and phoning would have been strange after forty some years for me. I am so sorry for my reluctance of contact and so proud of you for the progress you made on your own with out family support. Please don't give up on this important adventure in your life that has brought you to this show. There are so many who need someone to talk about their encounters or have questions answered. And if your listeners have not read your book I highly suggest it and not just because I am your sister but because it speaks for alot of us in many different aspects. Please give me a call so we can get together, I think you would love to hear some of the stories I have experienced and heard from people in my lifetime that goes way beyond just bigfoot.
