    Novel Update!

First of all, I would love to thank everyone that has been reading The Cruiserweight (yes, even through all the revisions, but as a friend and fellow writer's agent says, "There's no such thing as a great writer . . . only great rewriters!"). Your continuing support means more to me than you will ever know.

The Cruiserweight has been a work in progress for a little over a year with plenty of stops and starts. However, in the last several weeks, it's flourished more than ever. The more feedback and suggestions I receive, the more I want to work on this book to make it even better.

Some people would be stressed over such a large project, but I have found myself having fun with both writing and the editing process of The Cruiserweight . Despite receiving various types of feedback, the consensus has been the same on one issue---The Cruiserweight's topic is an original fiction idea (in book form anyway!).

I haven't put this into place just yet, but I am planning to also include a glossary of wrestling terminology at the back of the book. Anyone that has read The Cruiserweight thoroughly notices that a lot of these terms are used in several areas of the novel. Those not familiar with wrestling and the language associated with it may find this additional feature helpful in answering any questions as to what a specific term means.

As of this post, The Cruiserweight is rated in the following.

HarperCollins Editor's Desk Book Chart Rankings for The Cruiserweight:

    #443 in All Genres
    #341 in Fiction
    #37 in Popular Culture
    #32 in Other

Authonomy General Book Chart Rankings for The Cruiserweight:

    #85 in All Genres
    #99 in Fiction
#7 in Popular Culture (yes, the TOP 10!)
#5 in Other (also TOP 10!)

Just remember, all of this wouldn't be possible without people like you. This is a dream I have wanted to pursue for a long time and to see it developing so well and receiving such outstanding support gives me even more encouragement. If you spread the word, many thanks for that as well!

Enjoy the coming installments, everyone. For all of you just finding the book, welcome!
