    Early feedback on "The Crusierweight"

In just the last two days since the “teaser” chapters have been posted, The Cruiserweight has received some interesting comments, many of them helpful and even a few quite flattering!

To be honest, this has been a far better reception than I had expected for a first effort. Keep in mind, however, that this is only a sample (and the first draft) and the entire work will have a final polish once it has been completed.

Here are just a few examples of the aforementioned comments:

“OMFG! Amazing!” - Dustin Dekarske, Future Shock Pro Wrestling

“Gives a realistic view of the struggles and victories of a wrestler that is not the classic “cookie cutter” type, and how he can remain humble through both.” - C. Stiles, reader, feedback via email.

“I liked the synopsis of your story since my son is a part time wrestler/body builder…” - Jennifer C. Braun, HarperCollins Authonomy member and author, Shoondor

“Unusual setting for a novel, can't think of many with wresting as a theme, but why not?” - Jared Conway, HarperCollins Authonomy member and author, Mummy’s Boy

“I can so see this as a movie. I really like the few chapters I’ve read so far. Good characterization and dialogue. I also like your vivid descriptions. Your writing style was easy and fun to read.” - S.A Stone, HarperCollins Authonomy member and author, Eden Falls

“This is light and breezy. It's an enjoyable read…” - Poppet, HarperCollins Authonomy member and author, Exploits

“…Based on your synopsis and the first couple of chapters, I've got your back. Shelved!” - Rodney Battles, HarperCollins Authonomy member and author, Hearts, Heads & Beds
