    TNA Victory Road Review

To begin, I’m going to confess that I don’t tune into TNA very often, but I wanted to go off the normal path and try something else for a change, so I decided for this week to do a brief review of the Victory Road PPV.

Was it worth the money? No, not really, but at the same time, I’m not clamoring for a refund. Seeing some familiar faces was one of the good things, but truthfully, in my opinion, this could have been booked a little better.

As of last night, the Mafia has all the power as well as the belts. I have a feeling it’s going to be all about this faction from herein and everyone else is going to be buried. While I like these guys to a point, I think some other talent deserves a break too.

Secondly, where was the real X-Division action? I’ve heard so much about the X-Division, yet when I tuned in, saw practically none. Where were the Machineguns? What about a Suicide vs. Homicide match?

I’m hoping this division doesn’t get cast by the wayside the way WWE had done with its now-defunct Cruiserweight Division, because, like it, there’s plenty of talent here too. It just needs to be used, especially on pay per views.

Lethal Consequences was also glaringly absent. Did someone forget about them or what?

On the other hand, the Knockouts match was impressive; Angelina and Tara (though she’ll always be Victoria to me) work very well together and it’s good to know that this story line will be built up and more matches are in the near future.

Morgan vs. Daniels wasn’t bad either, they seemed to blend in the ring and bring something out in each other. I say give these two a few more matches together if this was any indication of what they could do.

The rest of the PPV wasn’t that captivating to me. As a matter of fact, I’m sure quite a few of us could have done without the Morasca/Sharmell and British Invasion/Team 3D matches and replaced them with something better (perhaps with something mentioned at the beginning of this article).

Rating for this pay per view: 4.5 out of 10
