    A Crazy Two Weeks

It’s been a turbulent couple of weeks, hasn’t it?

One thing about it, we can’t complain about things being totally dull during this period of time.

First there had been the return of Kennedy on last week‘s Raw, followed by his subsequent (albeit shocking) release a few days later that had been the talk of the wrestling town for many days afterward, Kofi becoming US Champion, and a few more titles changing hands at Extreme Rules this past Sunday.

There was Umaga’s shocking release the day after the PPV (and speculation still currently following that), Lilian flubbing her lines calling Kofi the Intercontinental Champion instead of the US Champion on Monday’s episode of Raw.

There was Batista going out with an injury and needing surgery, the return of Triple H, ECW’s Tommy Dreamer signing a new contract, drug testing going on at this past weekend’s house shows and again at Raw, and on top of all of this, Vickie resigning as General Manager of Monday Night Raw.

Next week, a three-hour Raw is in store, and the plan to resolve the now-vacant WWE Championship title was announced on ECW last night would be that the Three-For-All event on Raw this coming Monday in Charlotte, NC will feature John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Big Show vs. Triple H to crown a new WWE champion.

Somehow, I’m not shocked at the latter announcement. In any case, the events leading up to today have been anything but dull and given us fans plenty to speculate and discuss.

To be honest, though, I don’t take much stock in many so called “news” sites. Unless it’s from an “official” site like WWE.com (and sometimes we even have to wonder about them, being they could be in “kayfabe” at times), or the rare couple of websites that are indeed reputable, it’s better off being taken with a grain of salt unless we’ve seen it with our own eyes, which the majority of the aforementioned events were.

I do believe that this is just the beginning of some changes to come, which is going to give us in the wrestling community even more to talk about.

There’s a good chance we may or may not be liking these upcoming plans, but one thing about it–it certainly beats the dull, dry spells when the same thing is happening week after week.

So where exactly will happen from this point forward? Let your thoughts be known!
