Many kids are using computers and tapping phones which detracts them from real life to their detriment advised Michael Bishop, Ex. Director of Summerland Camps in North Carolina and California.  He explains to Lon here on May 3, 2018 why he developed Summerland Camps for typical kids who are still functioning OK but are too obsessed with digital screens.  He also described some of the techniques the camps use to help these children get a better perspective and balance on life.  [Our thanks to Rich Simpson, owner of Pathways Abroad for providing our intro music].
