    Date / Time:

    I, Eskimo

Tonight was the big one, ladies and gentlemen!  At least, it was supposed to be.  Tonight was supposed to be the night that I, Jim the Radio Guy, finally, finally proved myself as valid director of films, and produced my first watchable hit.  That was the idea - until I was undermined by one of my own Wonder Show co-hosts.  What?  Who??  WHY?!?  What?!?!?  (Oops, I already said "what".  We do try hard not to repeat material on the Wonder Show, you know.)

Tonight we were all ready to lens our long-awaited remake of the classic 1922 Eskimo documentary, "Nanook of the North".  But instead...  Well, actually, there is no "instead".  We did that.  The movie got shot.  (Sort of.)  Nanook lives again in 2009!!!  But not directed by me, is all.  Who did what again??  What's all this??  Download the archive version of the show, and hear it all for yourself.  You won't believe your ears.

As for me, I'll have to settle for being the star of the new "Nanook" film (titled, like tonight's episode, "Nanook of the North Belt Highway").  So download that show, and listen to it lots.  Then, be sure to check out the documentary when it gets to a theater near you.  (Even if it is only a theater of the mind.)  I'm not bitter.  Well, bitter cold, maybe.  All this fake snow is starting to take its toll...
