It is a common fact that many people put on a few pounds during the winter months.  Whether it is because of the holiday treats that you can not get enough of or the idea of baking during the cold winter months sounds soothing, we all add a little bit of extra "insulation" to our bodies.

This week on The USA Green Lady show we will be talking about food.  We will discuss the connection that we have with food.  My guest chef Greg Christian will discuss not only his yummy recipes and insights, but also acknowledge that it is our relationship with food that creates a higher understanding of our essentual existence. 

We will also have a produce expert from Irv and Shelly's Freshpicks in Chicago.  They have the inside scoop as to what is happening with the organic produce trends.  Shelly will discuss what is happening with CSA's and how you can be a part of the buying local movement.
