Although seemingly a simple question, once you actually analyze the factors you have to wonder: What would make a mother too old? and What rules and guidelines would support determining if a woman’s body can sustain child birth? Many gynecologists refer to pregnancy after age 35 as a high risk pregnancy. Numerous problems increase for women over this age in pregnancy. Another factor to consider is that after having the baby, women will need much energy to keep up with a growing toddler. How about you? Do you and yours plan to populate the earth well into your 40s?
