The Purpose Within Welcomes Sandra Steen

Inspirational speaker challenges internet audience to face the real reason we are not happy in this season.  Steen, internationally celebrated speaker, author and CEO states that, “Ego is the reason for our suffering!”

When asked why she’d declare such a bold statement, Steen shares that positive language and optimism can only take us so far during this time of war, financial hardship and an atmosphere of oppression and depression.

“I woke up the other day to hear that a father murdered his family and turned around and killed himself… I was appalled!” While many speakers tout the glory of affirmations, calling things into your universe and creating expectation, Steen says she believes in the power of the spoken word; however, she shares that the reality of experiencing joy, peace, gratitude and all things good can only be realized when you decided to break agreement with what she calls “Joy Robbers”. 

“I do not believe that recession is a valid reason NOT to succeed.  Ego is not a valid reason to take each other for granted and low emotional swings are not valid reasons to abuse the ones we love.” Steen suggests that we employ positive relationships that help us to reshape our belief systems, create actions steps that produce opportunity for us to move forward and that we learn how to adapt and overcome hard times by living on the positive side of heartache.
