Daniel Goleman, lectures internationally, and is a psychologist who for many years reported on the brain and behavioral sciences forThe New York Times.. Dr. Goleman's 1995 book, Emotional Intelligence was on The New York Times bestseller list for 1 1/2 years with more than 5 million copies worldwide, a best seller throughout the world and was translated in 30 languages in 50 countries. Daniel Goleman taught and received his Ph.D.from Harvard University and was senior editor at Psychology Today. Goleman received a Career Achievement award for journalism from the American Psychological Association. He was elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science .
