After a 3-year self-imposed exile Karter reemerged to form a new label K World Entertainment and in 2005 released his most critically acclaimed album The Down Low. While domestic sales were lower than expected The Down Low, which featured a blend of RnB, Hip Hop and House, out sold his debut release in overall sales worldwide.
