The founding members of Kindred Souls, lead vocalist and songwriter Jeff Rafferty and keyboardist Lon Bacharach have been partners for eighteen years, since a friend of Lon’s told him about Jeff’s band. Lon remembers, “A friend of mine answered Jeff’s ad for a keyboard player. It didn’t work for him, but he told me that I had to check these guys out. Jeff and I got along great from the moment we went, and I quickly discovered that I was a better pianist than guitarist. From that day on, through thick and thin, we’ve been together.”

    Karter Louis Inspired by the growing number of gay artists he was discovering, Karter wanted to tour with a group of OUT artists. From that idea the infamous gay hip hop documentary film and tour was born. In 2001 Karter teamed up with film director and former black gay publisher Stanley Bennet Clay to create and produce "Twisted Tongues". After a 3-year self-imposed exile Karter reemerged to form a new label K World Entertainment and in 2005 released his most critically acclaimed album The Down Low. While domestic sales were lower than expected The Down Low, which featured a blend of RnB, Hip Hop and House, out sold his debut release in overall sales worldwide. In 2007 Karter released his third studio album, entitled; STILL:He breathed new soul into timeless tunes, such as Prince’s “Erotic City”, Patti LaBelle’s classic “Love, Need & Want You”, Jody Watley’s “I’m Looking For A New Love” and a progressive house medley of the Diana Ross standards “Remember Me” and “It’s My Turn” appropriately entitled “Ode to Diana”. The most unique quality of the album is Karter’s creative fusion of musical samples from some of the music industry’s amazing talents, such as DR. Dre, E40, Marvin Gaye, Dark Child and remix master Hex Hector. Karter shocked his fans in mid 2009 when the Prince of Trip Hop revealed that he was in the midst of recording a traditional blues album. This led many to suspect that he was retiring from the world of dance music, however all speculation subsided upon the announcement of the release of a dance single set to debut on “World AIDS Day” December 1, 2009

Canadian Doug Folkins is a Celtic Rock singer/songwriter and storyteller (and amateur boxer!) with a modern Pop twist. He’s perfectly happy to sing down at the local pub tonight, but he’s also set his sights on becoming a fixture on the Festival stage in the very near future. Folkins has spent the last 10 years, writing, playing, and producing his own material. With Another Last Call, Folkins’ fifth album, he returns to his folk rock past. “Calico Girl” and “Park the Car” have already gotten worldwide airplay in Austria, France, Israel, New Zealand, Australia, Germany and The Netherlands (as well as New York and Los Angeles). This worldwide appeal might be a result of Folkins’ ability to blend traditional Celtic influences, country twang, and pop jangle to create a fresh sound that is as comfortable as your favorite pair of jeans. Hi everyone my name is Dean Thomas Sr. I have a sponsor child called Dhana Kumari, she is 6 years old, weighs 30 pounds, she loves Jesus and is a very good student in school. I sponsor Dhana's basic food and care needs and send her small toys on occasion. My effort is part of the ONE child at a time program,that is being given through the love of our LORD Jesus, at The Grace Childrens Orphanage. The Indian Goverment is very poor and has no mechanisim in place to protect these precious children of GOD. Many thousands of children are currently suffering from poverty, have no homes, or food and are being turned away to wander and search for help in their troubles, with very little chance of ever having a successful and happy childhood, some must beg for food and sleep where ever they may find a warm place and this includes very small children as well. For this reason I support Dhana, the Grace Childrens Orphanage and Brother Emmanuel Nathala at the Pay-Pal link below, a donation as small as ONE dollar would be appreciated, I have been in contact with them for a long time and Brother Emmanuel Nathala is provding care and nurturing to all the children that he can possibly take care of with the small resource's he has available, but there are many more who desperatly need help. The basic care of a child is $25.00 dollars per month and provides them with basic food, clothing and school needs. I beg you if you find me here please help these children as if you dont no ONE will, Our Lord Jesus has said that ONE of the most basic things to do is help the poor and love your brothers and sisters. For the school itself some of the things I wish them to have is two cooking ranges to prepare meals on, this is currently being accomplihed on wood fires,regular milk and cookies for the children, school supplies and the larger percentage of the children have no powders to wash thier clothing in plus there are many more needed items to speak of.If anyONE can help me find these things for them i would be eternally grateful.
