Did you realize that on this day in 1961, Martin Luther King Jr delivered his “I have a Dream” speech?  We will play that for you as an interesting bookmark to how much has and how much hasn’t changed since that day in Washington DC.
The Republican Convention gets underway today in Tampa.  It is being held with the threat of another major storm threatening the Gulf Coast.  How will the delegates react?
Voter suppression is still a hot topic in this country.  The GOP is firm in their resolve to disenfranchise voters in order to bring home this election for Mitt Romney.
A school shooting in Baltimore yesterday. Can we have a week without one?  Yet, part of the Republican Party platform will be to repeal some of the current gun law restrictions.  This is the fight they have chosen, but will put the fault for losing it squarely at the feet of the Obama administration as part of his “secret plan” to take away their guns.
Finally, we have lost another celebrity to Global Warming.  Kamal will run down the list, time permitting, so we can say good bye, in our own special way.
We WILL hit these points and more, tonight at 8:00pm EST.
Focusing on the major and sometimes overlooked topics affecting us in America today, the Nitelifer Circle of Sanity examines what is going on in Baltimore MD, Seattle WA, and all parts of the country in between.  The “Media” is or isn't talking about it, but regardless, The Nitelifer Circle of Sanity is! We hope to enlighten and educate while delivering the seriousness of the issues with sarcasm and humor.  Whether it is politics or social issues, The Nitelifer Circle of Sanity will be there.
