The Supreme Court has spoken and Obamacare is constitutional.  The Right is incensed and caught off guard because they had counted all of their chickens and knew they had President Obama on the ropes.  But like Muhammad Ali back in the day, President Obama laid on the ropes and continued to take all the blows and shots that the pundits and mouthpieces for the Republican party. They swung and swung and hit below the belt.  But when the bell sounded, Obama answered the bell and delivered the punch he KNEW was always available.  Never doubting what he already knew, the law was constitutional and is for the betterment of the people of this country.
Now on the other side of the coin, the Court upheld most of the Arizona law saying it was OK for police to detain, (but not for too long) suspected illegal immigrants until they could be confirmed as citizens or legally here.  It is a slippery position to say the least, but it is good fodder for discussion.  Join us and let's discuss it.  Where do YOU stand on the Arizona law?  Where do you stand on Obamacare?  And while we are at it, let's discuss The House Republicans finding Eric Holder in contempt and hit on the issue we ran out of time on last week; Penn State and the politics of sacrificing the innocence of children so that Joe Paterno could own the record for winningest coach in college football history.

Focusing on the major and sometimes overlooked topics affecting us in America today as well as in Baltimore and Seattle and all parts in between.  The news is or isn't talking about it, but regardless, The Nitelifer is!  We hope to enlighten and educate while delivering the seriousness of the issues with a hint of sarcasm and humor.  Whether it be politics or social issues, The Nitelifer will be there.
