Anthony Rayson is a Chicago activist with a 'regular' job collecting tolls. He said in agreeing to talk this week, "It's been a momentous last three months!  One of my close collaborators is one of the 'NATO Five' who were pre-emptively arrested shortly before NATO came on trumped up 'terrorism' charges.  Also, we managed to get the plug pulled from the Crete Immigration Detention Center.  A week later, ICE pulled out of the one planned near Miami.  Then, Obama came out with his 2-year quasi-amnesty for certain 'illegals.'  So, yeah, I could fill people in on the latest from the Chicagoland activist scene.  Take care!  @nthony"

Kevin Annett is a new guest for us. Here's some info:

In 1992, Kevin Annett was an ordained minister with the United Church of Canada in Port Alberni on British Columbia's Vancouver Island, a logging town half populated with native Indians. He discovered a history of abuse and atrocities ranging from torture, sodomy and rape to murder, among the native children in the church's residential school. These crimes had taken place for more than a century and indicated deliberate genocide. He later discovered that such was the case in more than 140 schools run by the major churches with the complicity of the Canadian government. Refusing to remain silent, Kevin Annett was defrocked by his church and lost his family and livelihood. For 15 years,  he has conducted a one man campaign for justice for the survivors of this crime, and for the bringing to trial of those responsible. His story is a true David and Goliath epic.
