The Mudge Report - Blaize Nolynne

Blaize Nolynne was born and raised in Maine.

Inspiration from the book she wrote 'Firefighter Down, District One'  came from the fact that her father is a retired firefighter.

She says all of the good memories come from District 1 and the crew members she knew from all the districts.

 

The proceeds from her book will be donated it to the 9/11 Foundation and the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation to give back to the firefighters and their families. 

 

 'Firefighter Down, District One' takes place in Maine where the main character, Catisha Spadoni, grew up. At eight years old she witnessed her father die from an arson fire. As time went on and the Fire Marshal in charge of her father’s case never found the arson, she vowed she would solve the case. When she becomes of age she begins the training and taunting hours at the fire academy, just to be threatened by who she thinks is the arson.
