The Light Show  

Today the flow of conversation takes us into a deep consideration of what we know about the flow of money. Do we effect its flow by our thoughts of its goodness or badness? Does it flow in a way that is optimal for human evolution in the long run? As we live into this time of political polarity and economic crisis, something new is arising that may be called authentic conversation, where getting to the heart of the matter before us is essential, where conversations are called forth as if our very lives depended on them. The urgency of the times is a clear message to put aside our need to be right, and listen deeply to each other, to put aside our inner habits of moving away from what is painful, and speak our most authentic truths.  A sense of imminence could be felt throughout the show today, as Bonnie spoke about raising our hands to volunteer when God spoke about how hard this lifetime on earth would be, and Teresa and I spoke about knowing from the Mystery of who we are.

The knowingness that is our birthright, our channel into the divine, can be a guide everyday, even open us to information we need for specific tasks.  But we face obstacles in living into this flow of knowing.  It IS indeed a difficult lifetime!

From my experience, I have felt a reluctance to tend to my own affairs, my own creations, because I "needed to be needed" by others, to counter my deepest sense that I was not a wanted child.  As Bonnie commented, I was motivated by others needs, compromising my own evolutionary impulse (my own stream of knowing).

As we talked about pitfalls and hesitations, all of us could feel a new commitment to express the fullness of our knowings, our full magnificence as Beings, rather than qualify over and over how we might be wrong!  We could see that this magnificence was unique in its partnership with human vulnerability and that both streams of aliveness made us divine Beings in human form!

The richness of this weave is really beyond my capacity to wordsmith, so I hope that the energies of this exchange come through this text... perhaps you will need to listen to the show!!

We are on a journey of exploration into the unknown... how may we cross the mists from not knowing to knowing?  The answer seems to be one at a time, while our beloveds hold a space of love and connection.  And the information we bring back activates and reconfigures all that we already know together.

Today's show was a marvelous experience of unfolding... continuing from a conversation that we had yesterday, Bonnie journeyed into her own spaces of knowing ... almost a prophetic sense, a sparkling pull toward newness.  At one moment of hesitation, Teresa asked her to breathe and she went deeper.  Recalling her experience many years ago, with geneticists gathered around her dining room table, naming DNA "junk", Bonnie tuned into the "lightness of heart" which she had felt then.  She had spoken to the geneticists about her sense that the "junk" DNA could just be something not yet known, something of real import, and remembered the dismissal of the geneticists when she spoke.  (Now we know that junk DNA is a vital part of the dynamic dance between the DNA and its environment.)

As Bonnie spoke I could feel her learning/expansion, increasing awareness of the value of her "sense", the courage she had shown to speak up at the time, Teresa's encouragement to continue her journey into the unknown right now.  My own story... of following my joy/excitement about buying a piano, then about buying a computer, all leading to a "liminal" moment with my daughter Ariel... was reconfigured as I listened. (My brain had linked my excitement to the things I considered buying.  After Bonnie's journey I remembered that Ariel had made a trip home for some trivial reason, and she had accompanied me in the car to evaluate my potential purchases.  It seemed more true that I was tuning into something happening within Ariel and intuiting that there was a pivotal moment to share with her in the car!)

Every thread we examined... Bonnie's sense of being gentle with her self (moving forward little by little); Teresa's reflection on the "secret garden" of our Show, cultivating growing from the unknown to the known; my sense of the strategic limitations of the mind; all contributed to a "whole" Show today.  We wove a beautiful conversation...

I was reminded of Hank Wesselman's description in one of his books, of his journey into the heart of Oneness, his return held safely by his relationship to his partner shaman.  Perhaps each of us can journey into the heart of Oneness, where all that is known resides, held safely by our love and connection with one another, to return with whatever knowings are needed in each moment!!

We speak about our show as a "Public secret garden", where we journey together into liminal places of knowing about what's going on today. We're on a roll!  Amazing bits of ordinary life are being transformed through our heart-centered conversations into glimpses of global transformation!

On our Feb 7 show we explored the evolution of our Conversation Campaign.  From one perspective we could see that we've been speaking about the most ordinary aspects of our lives, almost "no-thing"; but from another perspective we could see that the frequency of the show, every Tuesday and Thursday is calling us to practice dropping into real conversation in a moment, as part of daily life.  Instead of doing our meditation in silence on a mountain top, we are engaging in travel and activities that require us to practice "presence at the drop of a hat".  We are building a place of collective Stillness that can nourish and guide us through the chaos that seems to be inviting us to play these days.

On our Feb 12 show our explorations led us to the metaphorical quality of "ordinary" life experiences... meeting an old friend, moving day, weddings.  Teresa's experience with an old friend seen infrequently was an invitation into "beginner's mind".  The friends approach each other on every visit from a fresh vantage point, no expectations, waiting for the painting to become visible with their experience and conversation with one another. 

Bonnie's upcoming wedding, with her vulnerability for being the center of attention, feels something like the native American "marriage" that holds significance for the whole tribe.  Jeanie's 8 days of unentangling furniture and boxes from the mix of transition in rentership, seems to mirror the individuation process she and others are facing as they step into the personal sovereignty necessary for real collective wisdom to emerge.

Jeanie's vivid account of taking charge of her move, of unconflicted behavior to achieve a goal while honoring relationship, led us into the urgencies of the times.  Each of us must now (note bene, Jeanie) step fully into our unconflicted passions to participate in the new order that will shift humanity toward its positive future.

Every moment brings us the opportunity to see our choices as choices that contribute to this global shift....
