The Light Show  

As we flow with the Conversation Campaign, into the experiences of different women and different women's organizations, it seems we are collecting "butterflies".  We are reaching to understand in a deeper way what has called women forward in the initiatives that they are in, so that we may see more clearly what we are doing together and how to proceed from here.

Bonnie Kelley with her friend Lucky Sweeny birthed an initiative called Evolutionary Women 3 years ago, which has continued to grow organically as a "field" or environment in which each individual woman moves more authentically down her path of evolution.  Some women have gone deep within themselves to grow personally; others have created new projects outside of Evolutionary Women's purvue; still others have collectively aligned within Evolutionary Women to produce a new book just coming out, called "An Evolutionary Women's Guide to Life",  bringing a felt sense of co-creation into the rich culture of Evolutionary Women.

Bonnie feels deeply that 3 aspects of their work might go under "best practices".  1) The allowance they have given the organization to grow in whatever way it best grows organically, following the energies of individual women called to play in the evolutionary field.  2) A practice that begins every EW event, where each person is invited to experience the roles of speaker, listener, and witness, broadening awareness of how one relates to others.  3) The EW motto "I will stay awake with you" which invites every woman into self-responsibility while providing a deep sense of collective support.

We look forward to the evolution that results from the EW gathering this weekend, as many women face what it is to be an evolutionary woman in a world that does not reward that deep honoring of Self (with the flow of money, for example).  Stay tuned for more amazing evolution on this subject at www.EvolutionaryWomen.org.
