Sufi Teaching with Sheik Raage Haji Mohamed

This is the second in a series of teachings in the Islamic Sufi traditon. Our guest teacher is Sheik Raage Haji Mohamed, a former guest on The Life of Universal Loving. Sheik Raage will draw upon the teachings of Shaikh Abd Al qadir al jilani in presenting this series of teachings. Sheik Ragge said the following as an introduction to this series of teachings:

"Shaikh Abd Al qadir al jilani lived almost one thousand years ago, but his words transcend the time and space in which they were recorded so that they span the centuries without difficulty. Revered to this day as the supreme helper (all-gowth al-a'zam), the Shaikh (may Allah be well pleased with him) addresses his audience at a level that bypasses the obstacles of the heart and mind.

"The book, Secret of Secrets, is perhaps one of his most important works, expounding different aspects of the spiritual path, both esoteric and exoteric, divided into twenty-four sections. The essential stages and prerequisites for the journey back to Allah are laid out in detail. Any seeker of the spiritual life will experience immense benefits by reading or listening to the wise words of Shaikh Abdulkadir, written so many years ago."

In the second half of the program, Tenzin will lead a guided meditation on death and impermance. This is one of the 21 traditional lojong meditations.
