Host, Laura Theodore, the Jazzy Vegetarian,  chats with Chart Topping Singer/Songwriter Victoria Shaw, whose songs have been staples on the charts since the early 90s. We'll talk about her solo CD, songwriting career and chart topping music. I'll share some great tummy warming, cold-weather recipes along with my short list of "Top Winter Super Foods!" Victoria Shaw's #1 compositions include Garth Brooks' "The River" and "She’s Every Woman," Ricky Martin's “So’lo Quiero Amrte,” and Jim Brickman's "Sending You A Little Christmas." Ms. Shaw co-produced Lady Antebellum’s self-titled debut CD release for Capitol Records. She has had four of her songs nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award and won the Emmy with "This is Our Moment,” co-written with Earl Rose and Olivia Newton-John, and featured on the daytime drama, "As the World Turns.” She was awarded her second Emmy for the song, "When I Think of You," which was featured on the long-running daytime drama, "One Live to Live." Other hits include the Ricky Martin/Christina Aguilera duet, "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely” and the Garth Brooks/Trisha Yearwood duet "Where Your Road Leads." Victoria is passionately involved with many charities, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She wrote and executive-produced the song, "One Heart at a Time," featuring the vocals of Garth Brooks, Olivia Newton-John, Billy Dean, Michael McDonald, Neal McCoy, Faith Hill and Bryan White and donated all of her writer/publisher proceeds to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Victoria has also performed throughout the world, including opening for Garth Brooks at his legendary concert in Central Park. More: http://www.victoriashaw.com/
