Call in to speak with the host
Join author Laura Theodore, the Jazzy Vegetarian, as she shares a few smart tips for dining out vegan style. Whether traveling for business or pleasure, ordering a healthy vegetarian meal can be challenging, as Laura learned from her extensive travels as a touring jazz artist. You'll learn how to customize your food order in ways that most eating establishments are happy to accommodate! We’ll chat with musician Peter Eldridge , who is a co-founding member of the double Grammy Award-winning vocal group, New York Voices. He is a vocalist, composer, pianist, and recording artist, and as a solo performer, he has three albums to his credit and his fourth, entitled 'Mad Heaven' will be released later this year. His busy life is made up of touring, recording, and writing music, teaching at the Manhattan School of Music, and spending time at his home in the New Hampshire countryside whenever possible. We'll hear some great songs from Peter too! Special Segment: We'll be speaking to Janet Rhodes, owner of a store that promotes fair trade for artisans all around the world. In response to the earthquake Ms. Rhodes is currently holding a silent auction of all her Haitain metal art, with all of the proceeds to be donated to the relief efforts in Haiti.
