It's important to know about MTP because he serves as the perfect-man role model for the ummah.

As a Christian, I don't see Jesus Christ as a grand amalgamation of myths. But even if one does take that view (And I don't harbor any animosity toward those who take that approach), his effect on the history and the behavior of mankind has been outstanding and, for the most part, very good. Can we say the same about MTP? Hardly. In our upcoming interview with Robert Spencer, we'll be discussing his book "The Truth about Muhammad." It's important to know about MTP because he serve

The "model" -and Vince it is a model- is not the sacrifice of powerless innocents, but of the restraint and self sacrifice of those that have in history followed.

Among disbeleifs, I would think it easier to think Jesus Christ a grand amalgamation of myths, than to think him an "ordinary human being." That "ordinary human being" had an amazing insight into how his message did comport to past, and remake future, religious thought.

Altruism (Rand's great ev

"If you take Jesus Christ as an ordinary human being, what do you do with your ideal being? You put him on the Cross, you torture him and murder him for the sake of those who are less virtuous. Is that a proper example to set? - Ayn Rand My response: It wasn't mean to be an example for others to follow. It was an event to put an end to death. Look at it this way... Mankind's credit card account with God had a $20 Trillian balance that could never be paid off. So instead of demandin

Kiwi, You and I obviously differ in our takes on Christianity. Still, you recognize the Islamic threat to Western civilization, so I count you as an ally. Unlike many Christians, Mr. Shoebat believes that all sorts of people should be able to recognize the threat; he differs with many Christians in that regard. Thanks again, Kiwi, for listening to "The Gathering Storm Radio Show."

If God is incomprehensible to man, it would seem rational never to think of Him at all." If God is incomprehensible to man, it would seem rational never to think of Him at all." —Jean Meslier (Fr.)
