PS sorry for using the word, DIET.

I am looking forward to hearing you speak about coping with addictions as they relate to eating whatever you want on this diet. I'm afraid to allow myself to eat what I want because of the addictive nature of my body chemistry - I'm not known to be able to have just ONE of anything that I am allergic to (addicted to) such as alcohol, sugar, white refined foods, corn-based products. I need to stay away from all these items, for the rest of my life. What's your belief on how we handle foods that we know we are addicted to? Do you worry that your readers might fall off the wagon and have huge set-backs in 12 Step Programs or promise of abstinence and sobriety if they follow your advice that they can have something to eat or drink so they don't feel deprived? Also do you believe that some people have to measure and assess for intake to teach themselves what they ingesting before they can automatically self regulate? Example: some don't realize that they are eating 5,000 calories a day, and really do need to assess their food intake through re training and self educating, first. That might include measuring weighing and establishing portion control until they GET IT what is proportionally correct for their lifestyle and health factors. I love your CD's and listen to them eight hours each night. Thank you.

I am just starting to read your book Jon, and so far I am really enjoying it. As a lot of people I have a lot of baggage to work through, so I am hoping that you are going to be one of my saviours in this battle that we all call weight loss. Thanks and I hope and wish that your story will help me like it has helped you. Adele, New Zealand.
