What happens when a pregnant woman goes to jail? What happens if she is sent to prison before she gives birth? What happens when her baby is born and she is still behind bars? There are women with children born in prison, and often they have no family support to make sure the State does not send the child away to a foster home.  Today we will speak to Queen Mother Rev. Helen Sinclair, International Director of the Jessie Ma Houston Prison Ministries, about the needs of women with children in jail. Are you ready to be a pen pal, a friend, a sister to a mother in distress? What can you say or do that can have an impact on the life of a woman serving time who is separated from her child? Let's talk about it with Myeka.
