All across the country winter blizzards have forced schools to close, meaning children must be kept home. The problem is, the rest of society must continue to functions: grocery stores, banks, buses, trains, gas station, etc. This means that someone has to go to work. So what happens when the regular routine is disrupted and working parents can't drop their children off at school on the way to work? Not everybody has a non working relative or neighbor to call. Who should be responsible for watching our children when schools close? Should the neighborhood churches be prepared? Or should workplaces all be equipped with childcare facilities? What happens when parents must leave small children home alone all day? Should parents consider installing homesecurity cameras they can monitor from their computers at work?
