Singers, dancers, spoken word artists and visual artists will have an opportunity to launch a successful career by reaching audiences around the world in a new entertainment show to be televised in Chicago's Englewood community at end of April. "The Taste Entertainment Showcase" will feature the multi talented youth and adults in a community nortorious for it's gang crime, but nevertheless the home of many unsung artists whose exposure can change the environment in which they live. Television producer Wanda Carter discusses this new venture, to be broadcast on Cable television and Internet TV, and will give a platform for new artists to take advantage of today's communication systems that can launch an entertainer's career globally in a matter of moments. Aspiring movie and television producers will have an opportunity to work on this show, perfect their craft,and have access to audiences as they prepare their own independent films and television shows. As the cable and Internet TV markets expand, this week we will take a look at how regular people now have open opportunities to influence world opinion, culture, politics,and economics.
