When couples split and children are involved, the right thing to do is pay child support to the custodial parent. If both parents are truly concerned about the welfare of the child, this process shouldn't even require court intervention, both parents should just agree on a dollar amount to be provided for the child's upkeep. But, let's face it, child support is too often used as a weapon of vengeance. Women, be honest, do you feel that if your ex-husband, or baby's daddy left you for another woman, you'd be ready to demand more money for child support and have him thrown  in jail if he doesn't pay? Men, do you feel if your ex-wife or baby's mama leaves you for another man, she shouldn't expect a dime from you? Is Dad truly a deadbeat, or are the children just pawns in a game between two adults who are still trying to hurt each other after a bad breakup? Pastors Darrell and Jean Lockett of After God's Own Heart Ministries examine the deeper emotions behind the child support conflict.
