People around the country flocked to Washington DC to commemorate the 50 year anniversary of the March on Washington. While the event was a historic day 50 years ago, today's question is, 50 years later, have race relations really gotten any better? Or, in this Post Trayvon Martin era, have they really gotten worse? Has racial profiling increased? Are there more African Americans serving time in jail who are proclaiming themselves innocent? Are marches and protest rallies really the way to change the hearts and minds of people, or is that tactic futile? What really needs to be done to bring justice to America?
