Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Catholicism, Sikhism, and all the other organized religious beliefs are supposedly designed to provide a moral, ethical and spiritual foundation for our lives. But when negative beliefs about sexuality are injected into our religious faiths, they often create disharmony and even hostility between men and women. Are your beliefs about sexuality clouded with feelings of guilt, shame, fear or disgust? Men, is your approach to women that of a predator or conquerer? Women, is your approach that of using your body as a tool to bargain for survival? We are sharing a spiritual experience many times for all the wrong reasons and with negative thoughts that create negative energy in what was designed to be a healing experience. How can we change negative religious beliefs that contradict the positive act of sexual intimacy?
